The likely hood of Brisbane Australia having it’s 4th once in a 100 year flood is looking more likely. After looking at the rain history it can be seen if we get 2 days in a row of 300mm or more of rainfall within the next month a 2011, and 2022 flood event is very likely. Just now, it looks like a flood is likely. If you see in the rainfall history stored here and see 800mm or more within 30 days than it’s guaranteed Brisbane will flood.
Question on my mind being, is the current government going to avoid this by releasing dam levels soon, or lack the foresight and duty of care to the people, as did by the Labor Government (2 floods in a decade). Watch my rain gauge data, if you see December shoot past 500mm for the month, and rain continue through January. Ready your bags and abandon the city for a week or camp on a politicians front yard (They never flood)
Now Labor out of office the flood risk is much lower. Let’s see if the Nationals care more about the people of Queensland!
