Day one: The arrival
The taxi ride cost only $35 from the Changi airport to hotel. I made the mistake of buying a data sim at the airport, costing $50. Could have got one for around $15 at the hotel lobby. 🤣Keep in mind, many things do cost much more at the airport than they do in the city (Same goes at all airports). Example: Tiffany paid $18 for a lemon lime and bitters and I $16 for a beer – ha ha her soft drink cost more than a beer. Both of these cost around $5 in and around Singapore city area 😂.
The second day
On day 2, First up we explored the area around our hotel. Within minutes coming across our first temple. As anticipated while planning our trip, the beautiful structures are surrounded by modern buildings and landscape. It was a blend of old and new making the perfect photo shoot a near impossibility.
Footwear had to be removed before entering temples. Some temples, woman are given clothing to cover up bear shoulders.
